In the Sunday sermon on February 11, 2024, I mentioned the book Peace Child by Don Richardson in order to give an example of redemptive analogies. Don and Carol Richardson went to Papua, New Guinea as missionaries to the Sawi tribe. Their story is presented in the book, which was also adapted into a 30-minute movie, which is available on YouTube. I recommend you watch it without the children first, as there is some pretty graphic violence in the story.

A redemptive analogy is a practice, symbol, or belief native to any given culture that distinctly parallels or illustrates the gospel.
